Draft language for the proposed By-Laws changes and Article 27 of the CBA (Temporary Reassignment) has been uploaded to the Union website. The draft C&B proposals are in the "Const./By-Laws" tab and the Article 27 draft language is in the "downloads" tab. There currently isn't any draft language for wage negotiations but it will be uploaded soon.

Liberty Fire Department: LODD 10/26/25 - Missouri State Council of Fire Fighters
Liberty Fire Captain, Raymond L. McElwee, 56, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer for most of this year. His diagnosis was determined to be caused as a result of his profession and is recognized as a line of duty death. He was a 26-year veteran of the Liberty Fire Department.

Station 6 stopped by Garfield Elementary School for a fire safety talk and to show the kids our trucks and gear. We focus on basic fire safety, escape plans, using 911, and not to be afraid of us by introducing young kids to our equipment and how we look all geared up!

Three Local S6 Members were able to attend and support those at the IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial. This event takes place in Colorado Springs, Colorado every year. This year it was held on September 20th, 2025. Thank you to these members for going out and honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for those they loved while doing what they loved.
